AYB (Are You Brazilian) started as a place to share my favorite Brazilian music and events in NYC. The name came about because I was so immersed in the Brazilian cultural scene in New York as a samba dancer and musician, people would often ask me if I was Brazilian (I’m not by the way). The blog has evolved with me as I became a DJ, and I’ve been focused mostly on highlighting music I think people should hear, emphasizing the Lusophone world. I look forward to your continued presence as this keeps evolving.
